Financial Analyst

Clearspring Technologies is the leading widget development and syndication platform reaching over 127M unique viewers every month. The Clearspring platform is being leveraged by a rapidly growing list of premier media companies across the globe including NFL, MTV, Walt Disney Company, ESPN, and the BBC.
Clearspring is seeking to add a talented and professional Financial Analyst to our McLean, VA headquarters to provide financial forecasting, ROI analysis, and other strategic support for our rapidly evolving widget syndication and monetization efforts.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare the annual budget and ongoing rolling forecasts that include revenue, operating expenses, capital expenditures and headcount
- Develop and maintain the revenue forecast model
- Perform market level research and analysis used to inform revenue and expense forecasting as well as strategic level decision making
- Develop ROI based business case analyses to support capital investments, pricing decisions or other strategic initiatives
- Assist with the monthly close process and provide detailed monthly budget/forecast variance analysis to each department
- Prepare ad hoc analyses, budgeting and modeling as required
Required Skills/Experience
- Bachelors degree in accounting, business or finance, MBA desirable
- Minimum 3-6 years of related work experience
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Self-starter with strong project management skills and the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities accordingly
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Superior analytical skills and a strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of the online space desired
