Software Engineer
Overview
Clearspring is seeking talented, dynamic professionals to contribute to the development of new functionality in our industry-leading widget development and syndication platform. This individual will work as part of a small, focused team developing the next generation of application syndication and distribution tools.

Primary Responsibilities
- Working with a small team to contribute to the design, architecture and implementation of core product features
- Managing your individual development pipeline with the assistance of a team lead
- Producing designs and test frameworks in addition to feature code
- Contributing expertise in specific technical areas to the team as a whole
Required Skills/Experience
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
- Very strong Java skills and object oriented design experience, including significant knowledge of core libraries and common design patterns
- 3+ years of real industry experience with Java-based development
- Experience in a team-based environment working on commercial software products
- Competence in a cross-platform environment including Mac OS, *nix, and MS systems
- Experience with light-weight and/or Agile development methodologies is desired
- Experience with Python, C/C++, Javascript, Actionscript, and web services are all bonuses
