Web Developer
Overview
Clearspring is seeking a talented, dynamic professional to contribute to the development of Web-based tools for our industry-leading application development and syndication platform, as well as our public-facing website. The Web Developer will work alongside a team of experienced designers and engineers responsible for delivering high availability, scalable, and user-friendly interfaces to our core product offerings.

Primary Responsibilities
- Design and develop dynamic new features for our Web platform as directed by the Web Team Lead
- Continually assess the Web platform and conceptualize/prototype enhancements to our Web platform to increase functionality and usability
- Collaborate with product management, graphics, and engineering teams to deliver the technical aspects of a development pipeline
- Support the Web Team Lead in stewardship and design of overall web architecture
- Contribute to the development of Clearspring's public-facing corporate Web presence
Required Skills/Experience
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
- 3+ years of web development in a team-based, commercial environment; for commercial software and/or software-as-service products is a plus
- Web Development skills including HTML, CSS and extensive knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks such as Prototype, Scriptaculous, and MooTools.
- Knowledge of and demonstrated experience with modular design patterns, MVC, and custom frameworks
- Thorough understanding and application of AJAX methodologies
