Starting in 1965, Washingtonian magazine has been a staple of covering what’s hot in the Washington DC area. One thing the magazine is known for is its editorial lists that pick who or what locally is at the top of their fields.

Well, we’re really psyched and totally flattered that in July’s Best of Washington edition Clearspring is listed as a “Hot Stock.”

Having Clearspring Central Command here in the Washington DC area has been great for us and also a source of pride. We’ve been able to attract some of the top creative, engineering, and management talent from both inside and outside of the Beltway. Being our nation’s capitol, Washington DC just has a lot to offer. For example, where else could you have seen a better fireworks show this last Fourth of July weekend?

On Wednesday June 25th, Clearspring accepted the award from the Northern Virginia Tech Council as the company with the “Hottest Buzz.” With the impressive cast of characters in the same category, we’re especially honored and excited to receive the award.

According to a recent report by the American Electronics Association, Washington DC has the 2nd highest amount of high tech jobs in the United States, with the winner being New York City. With Clearspring Central Command being the Greater Washington DC metropolitan area (McLean, VA), we’ve been working around the clock to solidify ourselves as a local leader in tech so that we can attract the best and the brightest talent to come work for us.

Back by popular demand, local tech recruiter Robert Neelbauer and company are holding another Social Matchbox DC this evening. It’s an opportunity for Washington DC startups to meet local tech enthusiasts and job seekers. It’s kind of like start-up speed dating.

Our very own recruiter extraordinaire Ian Jones will be there representing Clearspring. We’re currently looking for people to fill numerous positions, like: Web Developer, Data Analytics, Java Engineers, Controller, Billing Analyst, Helpdesk/Desktop Jr. Level, Sr. Operations Engineer, and Yield Manager.
