AActive Desktop Installs by Platform: The count of the Desktop Installs where the widget has been loaded at least once over the selected time span. Active Installs: The count of the installs where the widget has been viewed at least once over the selected time span. API: An application programming interface (API) defines the services exposed by a software application or library for other programs to use. Our APIs allow third-party developers to create new applications using our data. Average Interaction Time: Total Interaction Time divided by Interacted Views for the selected time span. Average Time Spent: The Total Time Spent divided by Views for the selected time span. BBlacklisting: The ability to disable your widget from being displayed on specific domains or URLs. Browser: A program used to locate and view HTML documents. Examples of browsers include Microsoft Internet Explorer, Safari and Firefox. CClick Rate: Clicks divided by Views. Clicked Views: The number of Views where a widget was clicked. Clicked View Rate: Clicked Views divided by Views. Clicks: The number of times a widget was clicked. Clickthroughs: The number of times an outbound link was clicked on a widget. Clickthrough Rate (CTR): Clickthroughs divided by Views. CPCV (Clicks per Clicked View): Clicks divided by Clicked Views. DDays in Wild: The number of days calculated as the difference between the first date viewed or loaded and the last date viewed or loaded. Desktop Clicks: The total number clicks that occurred on in a widget in a desktop environment. This metric is segmented by Desktop Platform. Desktop Clicked Load: The number of times the user loaded a widget in a desktop environment and clicked the widget at least once. This metric is segmented by the Desktop Platform. Desktop Interacted Load: The number of times the user loaded a widget in a desktop environment and hovered the widget for at least 0.5 seconds. This metric is segmented by the Desktop Platform. Desktop Installs: The count of unique placement IDs assigned to each instance of a Desktop widget. Desktop Active Installs: The count of the installs where the Desktop widget has been viewed at least once over the selected time span. Desktop Loads: The number of times that a widget was loaded on a Desktop Platform. This metric is segmented by Desktop Platform. Desktop Platform type: A framework on a computer that allows a widget to be installed without explicitly opening a browser. Desktop type unknown: The entry in the list of Desktop Platform types where data is grouped when the Desktop Platform type cannot be identified. Destination Domain: The domain to which a widget is installed. e.g. MySpace.com Domain: The domain that the widget is being viewed on. Domain unknown: The entry in the list of domains where widget metrics are aggregated when the domain in which the widget is being served to is unknown. Check out our FAQ section for more information on why the domain information for a widget view may be unknown. Destination: The domain or Desktop Platform type to which a widget is installed. e.g. MySpace.com EEmbed: The action of applying computerized code directly onto a web page. Event: The name of the action captured based on a user initiated click, keyboard action or mouseover. Events: The number of occurrences for a Widget Creator defined action. Event Key: A widget creator defined key that is used in conjunction with the Custom Event API to define a widget specific user interaction. GGrab: The action that occurs when a user Installs a widget. IInstall: The instance of a unique placement ID associated with a widget. A placement ID is assigned when the widget is shared Installs: The count of unique placement IDs assigned to each instance of a widget. Installs (%): Installs for a segment of data (usually domains) divided by total Installs. Interacted Rate: Interacted Views divided by Views. Interacted Views: The number of Views where a visitor interacted with a widget. This includes both mouseovers and Clicks. Interaction: An action taken by a visitor with a widget. This includes mouseovers, Clicks and Clickthroughs. Interaction Rate: Interactions divided by Views. Interaction Time: The amount of time that a user Interacts with a widget. Interactions: The sum of the interaction events that a visitor had with a widget. MMetric: A quantitative measure of data. Monthly Unique Visitors: The unique number of visitors that have viewed the widget over the last calendar month. NNew Desktop Installs by Platform: The count of new widget instances that have been created on Desktop Platforms. New Installs: The count of new widget instances that have been created. A widget install must be viewed at least once on the Destination domain or Desktop Platform in order to be counted. PPID: Placement ID, the unique ID assigned to an install of a widget. Placement ID: A more business friendly description of PID. PPID: Parent Placement ID, the unique ID assigned to an install of a widget that identifies the originating install from which the widget was grabbed. Parent Placement ID: A more business friendly description of PPID. RRest of destinations: The entry in the list of destinations where widget metrics are aggregated when the destinations are not in the top 20 list. SSeeding a widget: The act of publishing the widget where a parent placement ID has not been assigned. This process is normally done from the Clearspring developer or community platform. Seed Install: An install that was not grabbed from another widget install. These installs originate from embed code generated from the Widget Console on Clearspring.com. TTime Spent: The time that the widget loads until the visitor navigates away from the page that the widget is on or closes their browser. Total Interaction Time: The aggregate Interaction Time on all Interacted Views for the selected time span. Total Time Spent: The aggregate Time Spent on all widget Views for the selected time span. UUID: The unique ID assigned to a a specific browser viewing a widget. Unique Visitor: A more business friendly description of UID. Unique Visitors: A count of the unique visitors who have viewed a widget. URL: A Uniform Resource Locator is a means of identifying an exact location on the Internet. VViews: The sum of the individual requests to load a widget. Views (%): Views for a specific segment (usually domain) divided by Views. Viral Hub: The name of the report that displays the number of Grabs by Source Domain for your widget. |
