Getting Launchpad On-Page

From within the Widget Console, you can get Launchpad On-Page code to let your users grab any arbitrary content on your Web page you want. If you want to do this from our UI, just click the Add Widget button at the top of the console. Next you'll be asked "Where do you want to add Launchpad?". You have two choices: "My web page" or "My widget", choose "My web page", which will take you into the Launchpad On-Page tool.

You'll see the Launchpad On-Page creation tool, which will give you all the options you need to customize the sharing menu and generate the code for your Web page and virally shar e any content you want. All you really need to do is give your widget a name, then click the Generate Code button and copy and paste the generated code into your own Web page.

If you want you can customize and style your sharing menu to better fit your Web page.  First you can choose how you want the menu displayed.

You can keep the default full menu display, use our standard button that will display the menu when someone clicks the button, or choose to user your own custom button.

Now that you have selected how you want the menu to be displayed you can now set the color theme of the menu to your choosing.

We provide four common themes that you can select and use.  If theses themes do not fit your desired style the you can choose to customize the menu colors.

The menu size allow you to select the size of the menu that will be display on the page or from a button action.

We provide a default setting for the menu we feel is optimal for most use cases.  Additionally you can easily select a wide or narrow option.  If these do not meet your needs you have full control over the menu size.  To help with sizing the menu a sample preview page, below the selections, is available so you can better gage the size of the menu on an actual Web page.

The services sections allows you to choose which services you want on your menu.  All services that are available from Clearspring are displayed in the list.

Use the Filter option to show groups of services; Post is all social networks and personal sites, Bookmarks are the list of all bookmarking sites, Send is available methods to send the content (email and mobile), Desktop is all support desktop widget platforms, Embed if you want someone to grab the embed code and subscribe for all RSS reader sites.  To add or remove any of these simply select the check box.  NOTE: some features require addtional configuration, such as Subscribe and Mobile

The Launchpad Menu has several optional capabilities which can be selected.  All of these options effect the look and feel of the menu for the user.

The "Show the Embed Code" option will display the embed code on the menu, and available as a button, for your users.  If you disabled the Embed services then this option is not available.

Launchpad On-Page allows you to define which content on your Web page you want your user to grab and share.  The console allows you easily copy and paste the content you which to share.  This content can be HTML for any text, images, object (Flash, Movies), etc.

You do not need to add your content in the console, you can always update the JavaScript code with a reference to you content.

Once you have completed configuring your menu you simply click the Generate Code button to get the Launchpad On-Page JavaScript code to add the menu to your Web page.
