Account Manager
Overview
Clearspring Technologies, the world's largest widget development and syndication platform, is seeking an experienced Account Manager for our New York office.
The Account Manager will work with content-rich organizations to help them leverage the Clearspring platform to quickly repackage, distribute, manage, and monetize their content in a Web 2.0 format. As a key member of Clearspring's Account Management team you will be responsible for driving client satisfaction and retention by understanding and communicating all client requirements, and acting as project sponsor for all deliverables.

Primary Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate and present the value of Clearspring products and services to the client to ensure their understanding of our full product offering and capabilities
- Develop a thorough understanding of assigned clients' business goals/objectives and identify ways to leverage Clearspring products to support clients
- Create and execute account strategies for assigned clients using systematic and effective phone, email and in-person communications
- Lead 'kick-off' meetings for new clients and account teams, ensuring smooth transition of new clients from Sales to Client Service teams
- Develop deep and strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Leverage client relationships to enhance and build revenue opportunities for Clearspring products and services
- Develop strong internal relationships and continually informs Clearspring Product Management team of product features and opportunities which enhance Clearspring's product as well as meet client's needs/objectives
- Provide regular reports & updates on the status of all clients
- Proactively contribute to billing/collections processes, including invoice approval, credit submission and coordination with Finance staff
Required Skills/Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in account management for online media or advertising space; knowledge of ad serving/new media and agency experience is a plus
- Deep interest in and understanding of online media market and Web 2.0 technologies
- Extraordinary written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated track record in supporting revenue generation and cross-selling services
- Flexibility to work with advertising agency buyers and planners as well as senior marketing executives at the client level
- Ability to work in autonomously within a dynamic, demanding team-oriented environment
- Proficient computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
