Billing Analyst
Overview
Clearspring Technologies is the leading widget development and syndication platform reaching over 110M unique viewers every month. The Clearspring platform is being leveraged by a rapidly growing list of premier media companies across the globe including NFL, MTV, Walt Disney Company, ESPN, and the BBC.
We are looking to add a talented and professional Billing Analyst to our McLean, VA office to be accountable for all billing processes for dynamic and growing new media revenue streams.
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure timely processing of billing
- Ensure that all customers are billed according to contract terms
- Track and follow receivables
- Provide revenue forecasts
- Assist with cash forecasts and cash flows
- Conduct variance analysis
- Calculate commissions
- Assist Engineering to develop billing integration with ad server and back-end analytics
- Interacting with Yield Manager
Required Skills/Experience
- Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting
- 1 - 3 years of billing experience in a corporate environment
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Proficient with Excel, QuickBooks, and/or other accounting software packages
- Excellent communication skills
- Extraordinary attention to detail
- Knowledge of online advertising technologies are a plus (ATLAS, ADIFY, Doubleclick)
- Previous experience in an online advertising space and related revenue models (CPM, CPC) is a plus
