Post..I'll bet your subscription rate is dropping faster then the casualty
rate is climbing. We will dominate, we will provide democracy and your bird cage
liner of a paper will go the way of the dinosaur.

I'm tired of hearing people say the US should leave Iraq now. With the help
of the US and its allies, Iraq has a chance to be a free and prosperous nation.
Where would Iraq be right now if Saddam were still in power?

Having trouble making ends meet what with $3.40 a gallon gas; skyrocketing food
costs; rising healthcare and adjustable mortgage payments?

TOO BAD! Get a second job - Bush needs another $100 Billion of your Tax dollars
for his war!!

Good ol' Dubbya needs to either bring our boys home or nuke these dune
koons and be done with it. I say let those Camel Jockies kill eachother off so
we can take their oil already!

The real reason this war is dragging on is America is not letting its sodliers
do their job for the sake of being politically correct.

The numbers are onesided. Why arent there any numbers for dead enemies? Those
Iraqi civilians are being killed by terrorists not U.S. soldiers.

BUSH, CHENEY, ASHCROFT, RICE, AND OSAMA SHOULD ALL BE WATERBOARDED FOR THEIR
PART IN THIS CATASTROPHIC CONFLICT!

80-90,000 civilian casualties is unacceptable by any standard. We should do more
to protect civilians.

Violence is down for the time being ... but rest assured it isn't over yet.
I only hope we get the needed assistance and equipment for future encounters.

NO Democracy, welfare. You and conspirators Malki, Jaafari, Talabani to steal,
kill scholars for vanishing Israel interest. Be aware that we if we die
protecting ourselves, we are alive in the paradise and your troops are to hell.

we're using rhetoric like "the surge is working" and the iraqis
are deploying tactics straight from Sun Tzu "The Art of War". Shame on
you Bush for "wasting resources".

The violence is down: because Sunni (and Shia) extremists are finally growing
tired of death. That doesn't mean that Sunnis who we are currently arming
(and who we FOUGHT just a few short years ago at the start of the war) will be
our 'friends'.

The question is "why are they dying... for what goal" ... The answer
is "they die for the HOPE that Iraq will become a nation that supports our
policies in the region". I find that outcome highly unlikely.

40,000+ Americans are killed each year on the highways... That has NO
RELATIONSHIP whatsoever to combat fatalities caused by incompetent foreign
policy.

Comparing the number of Americans killed in a completely unnecessary war to
"Americans killed by illegals" simply points out the commenters
complete lack of understanding of statistics.

How about a graphic chart with a time element so that we can see that the rate
of casualties is going way down with the surge?

More Americans have been killed in the U.S. by people here illegally than all
our forces overseas. Is there a widget for that?

when 911 happened did isolation from terror and strife seem a good plan.Ben
laden wants to leave islamists alone standing so the choice was made from
afghanistan to pyongyang some one has to the dirty job the rest can sit in
airconditioing and criticise

The death rate each year on the state highways in Calfornia exceeds 4,000 per
year! Our killings in Los Angeles this year is 692 to dates. Just like Iraq and
we are run by liberals! Whats the difference?

buzzzed.blogspot.com what do you think about the U.S. civilians in Iraq? Are
they above the law?

there's a white or grey partial border on the top right that looks really
really bad on a dark background -- it's barely visible on white.

can you guys please remove that ghost element ?

thanks
